Only eight of these awards have been given in our District since 1975, the most recent to Christopher Robertson (Port Nicholson) in 2012-13, and PDG Tony Fryer (Wellington North) 2014-15.
Michael and his wife Heather have both travelled to India for the Polio National Immunisation Days. Michael has been a long-time supporter of the Rotary Foundation and is promoting the World’s Greatest Meal to raise funds to eradicate polio, which the District encourages all Clubs to be involved in.
