At least 30 of our District 9940 Clubs have provided information for consideration by our Centennial history author Dr Stephen Clarke – a professional historian.
Dr Clarke has now drafted the first four chapters. He is nearing completion of Chapter 5 (Getting Stuck In 1997–2021) and will then move on to Chapter 6 (Looking Around, Looking Forward), with the aim of completing a draft manuscript by the end of July.
The first four chapters are:
·         Chapter 1 Rotary and all that Jazz - 1921–29
·         Chapter 2 Dark Days with Silver Linings - 1930–45
·         Chapter 3 Building the New World - 1946–59
·         Chapter 4 The Changing Face - 1960–80
While time is now very short, if your Club has not provided information to our historian please look at the options for doing so, which are explained at https://rotary9940.org/stories/mana-tangata-people-of-action-the-publication-outline/
