District Goals 2018-19 & Key dates
District Goals 2019-20
The District Foundation Committee has set the following Goals for 2019-20:
- Increase the awareness of the Rotary Foundation by giving presentations on the Foundation to 80% of the clubs in our District
- Have the District Grant funds for 2019/20 fully committed and used by Rotary Clubs in our District to fulfill club projects
- Submit and commence a new District Global Grant project
- Support a District Vocational Scholar
- Submit to RI a District Peace Fellow applicant
- Work more closely with the International Committee and sponsor one joint international project
- Increase Foundation and Polio-Plus giving by 5% over 2019/120
- Increase the number of Paul Harris Society members to 20
- Support a Vocational Training Team if proposed by the DG in the 2019/20 year.

- 31 July 2019 – Clubs notified of successful applications for District Grants
- September 2019 – Area of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy Month
- October 2019 – Area of Focus: Economic and Community Development Month
- November 2019 – The Rotary Foundation Month
- 31 December 2019 – Progress reports due for District Grants approved
- December 2019 – Area of Focus: Disease Prevention and Treatment Month
- February 2020 – Area of Focus: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month
- 31 March 2020 – Reports due for District Grants approved
- 31 March 2020 – Closing date for Vocational and Peace Scholarship Applications for 2019/20
- March 2020 – Area of Focus: Water and Sanitation Month
- April 2020 – Area of Focus: Maternal and Child Health Month
- May 2020 – District interviews for Vocational and Peace Scholarships
- 31 May 2020 – Applications for 2018/19 Districts Grants Close
- June 2020 – Submission of District nominations to Rotary International
