The Rotary Foundation at work
The Foundation supports the projects and programmes of Rotary Clubs by offering grants that support humanitarian projects, scholarships and vocational training teams that fit within the seven Areas of Focus.[click picture]

Grants to global scale projects developed by Rotary International which Rotary Clubs and Rotarians can participate in, using the grants available;
 
Vocational and Peace Scholarships. In our district , we focus on graduate level programmes.
 
Global Grants support large humanitarian and educational projects with long- term sustainable, high-impact outcomes and Peace scholarships and Vocational training teams. For the Peace and vocational scholarships, we focus on the graduate level programmes

District Grants are grants made available to clubs to fund smaller-scale, short-term projects in their local communities, or in international service projects that fit within the 7 areas of focus of the Foundation. District Grants allow Rotarians to respond quickly to urgent needs, and to plan smaller projects both in their communities and abroad. 

Clubs will be advised when funds are available for these purposes.

Disaster Response Grants allow districts to respond extremely rapidly to local disasters, such as earthquakes, floods and bushfires. Clubs can leverage leverage the Rotary Foundation grants with District grants and SHARE funds to maximise projects' impact.
 
Eradicating Polio worldwide [focus: disease prevention and treatment]
 
This signature program of the Rotary Foundation was started by a Rotary club in 1985 and Rotary today works with partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI). You can read more here.
