District Goals
The District Foundation Committee has set the following Goals:
- Increase the awareness of the Rotary Foundation by giving presentations on the Foundation to 80% of the clubs in our District
- Have the District Grant funds fully committed and used by Rotary Clubs in our District to fulfill club projects
- Submit and commence at least one new District Global Grant project
- Support a District Vocational Scholar
- Submit to RI a District Peace Fellow applicant every two-three years
- Work more closely with the International Committee and sponsor at least one joint international project
- Increase Foundation and Polio-Plus giving by 5%
- Increase the number of Paul Harris Society members
- Support a Vocational Training Team if proposed by the DG

- 31 March – Reports due for District Grants approved
- 31 May – Applications for Districts Grants Close
- 30 June – Submission of District nominations to Rotary International
- 31 July – Clubs notified of successful applications for District Grants
- September – Area of Focus: Basic Education and Literacy Month
- October – Area of Focus: Economic and Community Development Month
- November – The Rotary Foundation Month
- 31 December – Progress reports due for District Grants approved
- December – Area of Focus: Disease Prevention and Treatment Month
- February – Area of Focus: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month
- 31 March – Reports due for District Grants approved
- 31 March – Closing date for Vocational and Peace Scholarship Applications for 2019/20
- March – Area of Focus: Water and Sanitation Month
- April – Area of Focus: Maternal and Child Health Month
- May – District interviews for Vocational and Peace Scholarships
- 31 May – Applications for Districts Grants Close
